The Captiva Sport is offered in LS and LT models, with four trim packages available, including the all-wheel-drive LTZ. The LS models are powered by a 182-hp Ecotec 2.4L direct-injected 4-cylinder engine, while LT and LTZ models come standard with a 264-hp 3.0L direct-injected V6. Both engines are mated to an efficient 6-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on LS and LT, while LTZ models employ all-wheel drive.
Standard amenities include front bucket seats with passenger side fold-down, a 60/40 split folding rear seat, air conditioning, cruise control, remote keyless entry, tilt/telescopic steering column with steering wheel stereo controls and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity.
Available options include leather-appointed seating, heated front seats, power sunroof, a premium sound system, remote start, a rearview camera, automatic climate control and a towing package.
All Captiva Sports come with excellent standard safety features such as dual-stage front and side-impact airbags for driver and front passenger, head curtain side-impact airbags for front and rear outboard passengers, StabiliTrak stability control with traction control and electronic trailer sway control, a tire-pressure monitor and OnStar with six months of turn-by-turn navigation.
